there's no doubt na we can gain experience from joining tournaments. NOMAD has been around for a long time and has a solid foundation on what to do, when to do it and how. that said, age is related to interest and at the moment the interest of the current NOMAD teams are very low. sabi nga nung ibang ASA veterans na wala nang interesado sa NOMAD kayaw wala na masayadong organised tournaments and commitment as NOMAD members.
Lets take cost and fees out off the equation coz i know some of us are really poor at the moment, including me. We join NOMAD for example, we have to abide by all their rules, rules that has been established by NOMAD for a long time and even though we have a say on it (as team leader is likely to be a committee member) they would disregard our opinions. Which will cause frustration to all of our members dito sa BEAST. Matitigas yung mga puti na yun, off the field and on it. We're going to get treated like normal ASA members for all they care.
I'm not boycotting the whole idea, it's just a matter of being practical and not diving in without looking at the whole picture. Strategy is always good in a team environment and can be related to everyday living too
. So there are a few options that we can all consider
- We can join up as legitimate ASA members and join their 'Non Public Matches' which is the second best thing to generate strategies for because of it's exclusiveness and a more strict general ruling to gear, game machanics so on, and so forth.
- Make our own tournament. A little bit of planning and effort can go a long way into making this happen. We are capable of commiting to this and we have the basic tools to make this happen - An abundant player base and a couple of fields to play on.
- Join NOMAD. For those who are really curious on how NOMAD works, we are happy to support you guys and would maybe be a good opportunity to do an inquest to how things work internally and how committed the players are.
We're not limited to the options above and anyone can have their say about it. I'm just running out of ideas at the moment
If you are really keen in joining NOMAD then, great! team BEAST will be promoted and at the same time have a core group that has solid tactical experience. We encourage people to open up to this topic. We don't want to find out one day that some of us are not playing on our usual time and place because of NOMAD commitments. We play as a team and we will support every single soldier's decisions.
